Well, after 18 years, my Apple IIGS's fan has just died. Any suggestions on where I can pick up a new one? I can't find a 2", 2-pin fan anywhere in my local area. The fan has had a "dead spot" for 2 years, and now I can't get it to start anymore no matter how much I nudge it.

I'm not sure what the specs are for the fan beyond it being 2" square and having two pins, and if I were to ask for an "Apple IIGS fan" nobody would know what I'm talking about, or if they did, they'd simply laugh me out of the store.

If it's attached to the power supply, they show up on ebay fairly often.

If it's located elsewhere, more info is in order.

A valid email address might help...

I'm going with the other reply, but for the record, the fan is pluged in to the 2-pin male socket on the motherboard marked "fan" and came with some double-stick tape that was to be stuck on the motherboard. The tape stopped sticking within 6-months, and my grandfather (I was 11) helped me figure out how to permently attatch the fan with some wire.
