I'm trying to set up marinetti on my rom 3 GS. I installed
Marinetti3.0b1, then TCPIP30b3 and UtherLL.

I am using a cable modem then a router, then a switch. I have the
uthernet card connected to the switch.

I open the TCP/IP control panel. I click "set up connection"

So far, i have been leaving username and password blank.

I do not know what to put in for primary domain name or secondary
domain name. so far, i have left it with the default 0.0.0.0, and i
have also tried 4.2.2.1 for primary and 4.2.2.2 for secondary.

If you are hard coding your ip info vs using dhcp then you will need to put the ip address(es) of your ISP's DNS server(s).

The link layer is set to uthernet.

i have left keep network alive every 30 minutes unchecked.

i have left connect to network when gs/os boots unchecked.

i have checked the "show connect messages".

When i go into the configure screen, i have made the following
settings.

lan slot i left at the default value of 4

Does Contiki work when set to slot 4?

dhcp i left unchecked

ip address i entered as 192.168.1.31

subnet mask i set to 255.255.255.0

gateway i set to 192.168.1.1 which is the default gateway for my
router.

mac address i left with the default value of 162

When i attempt to "connect to the network" i get the following error
message:

You have aborted the attempt to connect.

Any ideas? Thanks to anyone who feels like helping me with this.
