To transfer files directly from a Mac, FTP is the easiest way to go. If
your Mac is running OS X, then it is very easy to set it up as an FTP
server giving access to a folder which you use to transfer files. If it
is running OS 9, then it is also possible to do that, but it needs a
third party application. If you have access to an FTP server somewhere
that you can use for temporary transfers, then FTP the files from the
Mac into it.

Once you have the files in a folder somewhere that you can FTP to, then
use my free SAFE2 on the IIgs. You will find that is the fastest way
there is to transfer files directly.
