Re: 20 Years Later: What storage options for IIgs?

The easiest, and maybe the most reasonable, mass storage devices I've found are the Zip drives. But unlike Hugh, I recommend the Zip 250 SCSI drives. Cheap on Ebay (get new) and so is the media. i just bought 10 250 meg new disks for less than $3 each! I format them using the Ramfast utilities, repartition them into 3 Prodos partitions of 32 meg and the remainder into an HFS partition. If you want a 'virtual GS' in your windows PC or your Mac, you can also make disk images of all the partitions and load them into KEGS by Kent Dickey. It really flies! The only drawback is an inability to print.

That comes only with the 'Bernie II the Rescue' emulator under Mac OS 9.x.

A 'Classic' folder can still be set up under Mac OS 10.4, I think. (Classic = Mac OS 9.2)
