I want to add more RAM chips to my IIe RAM expansion card (genuine Apple). The prepopulated chips on the card now are TI TMS4256-15NL. From what I've read on a few web sites, I should be able to add 41256 chips that are 150ns or faster to this card. I just want to make sure this is correct, since the
chips on the card don't specifically say they are 41256 chips. I figure
someone here has to know.

The TI chips are 41256 with 150ns timing.
You should be able to mix them with ones from other vendors.
For added safety: Add them as groups of eight identical chips.

And the timing isn't critical. Anything faster than 200ns should
be fine. (I forget what the max access time spec really is.)

Oops--I meant 200ns or faster. ;-)

FWIW, if they're fast enough, identical in a bank shouldn't
matter. They can't be too fast, and if they're fast enough,
they'll work.
