I agree, it looks great! From my initial inspection, it, like most modern video gear, is so highly integrated that I doubt that it's possible to hack any scan conversion improvements. I expect I'll use it just as you did. I am a little curious about what would happen if the high frequencies (above 3MHz) were boosted in monochrome mode...
