I don't know if anyone has looked at the Semi-Virtual Disk page
lately, the author had posted in Aug of last year that he was stopping
work on it. Well he's updated the page as of the 24th of Sep and is
begining work on the SVD ][. He says that this version will handle
Apple II half track disk images, will hook up to the host computer via
USB and will support USB memory sticks if you don't have a host
computer handy, along with other improvements.
He's looking for any and all suggestions people might have for making
the SVD ][ a good product. I e-mailed him and asked if this time
around he'd have software to allow it to be hooked up to a Mac. We'll
see what happens, I like the idea of this because it makes a "modern"
computer a nice program storage device for an Apple II system. ;-)
