Did I miss something obvious? Looked all afternoon (both within the various SHK archives and via Google) and failed to turn up a shred of documentation.

Casper is just a proof of concept application to show how to write a
server application that listens for connections.
There is no documentation, however the source code is available in
Sourceforge CVS.
When the latest version of Casper starts up, it displays where it is
serving pages from.

Does it support HTTP file transfer?

Do I need to manually build an HTML page linking to the individual files?
Yes

Is there a built-in facility in the server that can do a directly listing?
No

That's what I thought, thanks.

However, if someone wants to extend Casper to do this, then please, go
right ahead.

If it's written in C, I might just take a crack at it. My assembly language skills are very rusty.

Hi Steve,

Casper is written in 65816 asm. You could use it as a guide if you wanted to code up the equivalent in Orca 'C'.

If you just want to pull files off of the IIgs then Silver Platter will get you there faster and it's only $5.
