LOL- it's kinda funny, I've yet to ever see a monitor missing that
thing. I've been in the presence of people saying it was missing, only
to reach under and pull it off.. OTOH, I've seen them so scratched up
and nasty from years of dragging that it was nicer to turn it around
and look at the back side with the slots to hold it in the flush
configuration.

Heck, I think I even recall someone saying it was missing because it
was standing on it, in the extended configuration too. ;-)

Unfortunately because of never seeing them missing, I never kept them,
either.
