Personally, none of my current computers use wireless networking so WIFI
isn't a high priority for me.

To connect a IIgs to the internet there are lots of options. There was
an article in Juiced.GS about how to use a null modem to connect your
IIgs to a PC and use Marinetti to share your PC's internet connection.
You can also use Marinetti's MacIP link layer to set up an AppleTalk
connection to a Mac and share the Mac's internet connection. The best
option, which is what I'm hoping to get set up in the next month or so,
is to get either a LANceGS or Uthernet ethernet card to install in your
IIgs and hook that card up to a router on your LAN and share your LAN's
internet connection.

Web browsing is one of the tasks that my IIgs probably won't take over
right away. I will use my IIgs for some browsing, especially if I'm
going to download Apple II files. I don't do a lot of web browsing but
I do have some sites I visit on a regular basis that require more than
any IIgs browser can currently provide.

However, I can still use the IIgs for e-mail, file transfers and telnet
(for both reading messages here until an NNTP newsreader is released and
chatting on A2Central.com).
