No:  I download new programs for the IIgs on my PowerBook 12" running
OS X, use a USb floppy drive to move it to an old Mac, then use
filesharing and AppleTalk to move it to the IIgs, which is connected
to the old Macs via PhoneNet connectors. Nerdy!
