Re: Complete Basic?



I actually think the II serve 2 focus, not one. The total beginners of
programming are well served by the Applesoft BASIC with its ease of
use (just program!) and the hacker community (with buildin assembler
and monitor).

None of these are now served by the current computer generation.

The hacker community is probably still alive and well (as a smaller
group) - most of them are probably in comp.sys.apple2.programmer
now. :)

I wanted to focus on the 1st community, even though I might have only
one or more audience (at least one who is my son). :)
