Hi there,
My 20MB drive on my Focus card died (no surprises there), but I hadn't
gotten to the point of imaging the drive (nothing valuable on it).
I've seen that some people have had success with CF to IDE adaptors -
picked up one from eBay, and a 512Mb CF card and a 128MB CF catd from
local distributors. Neither card is being recognised by the Focus
Formatter (or whatever it's called). I know the card's OK, coz I had a
20GB 2.5" HD in it and it formatted fine with the same utility.
So... has anyone had success formatting CF cards with the Focus
Formatter, or do I need to use CiderPress to physically clone a drive
onto the CF cards?
If the latter, does anyone have a suitably sized (128 or 512MB) set of
blank partitions I could perhaps lay my hands on so I can do the
transfer?
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Sean
