The National Library of Australia has a few issueshttp://tinyurl.com/yvqhkf The State Library of NSW has a few othersHow would One go about getting scans of those from the libraries? No idea. Actually, now that I am at home, I've found that I have the following: 1984 Vol 1, Nos 5,7,9,10 1985 Vol 2, Nos 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 1986 Vol 3, Nos 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 1987 Vol 4, Nos 1,2,3,4 What do you need specifically? I may be able to scan a few. Seeing that the libraries are missing a few, I will offer them what they're missing.
A very public-spirited sentiment. I hope that libraries there are more conscientious about keeping old magazines than most libraries in the States. A few years ago, I was able to get Byte magazine back to the mid-1980s at my local county library--closed stack, but still there. Last week, I went to find an early-1980's issue and was told that they no longer have any Byte magizines! Apparently, many libraries are not open-ended affairs that get as much storage space as they need to be a *library*--they just push stuff out the back as new stuff comes in the front. ;-( Apparently, as long as there is a rumor of a microfiche copy somewhere on the planet, there is no need to preserve other copies... -michael NadaPong: Network game demo for Apple II computers!
