Marketing thought "Superduperdrive" didn't sound professional enough.

;-)

Since there's really nothing "super" about it (it only brings
Apple drives up to what by then had become the industry standard
3.5" density), and it's real contribution is its versatility in
supporting both the 800K GCR format and the 1.44M MFM format,
maybe "Versadisk" would have been a better choice.
