What is the largest memory card available? Can you install multiple
1mb memory cards, or is there just larger capcity cards?

The GS can handle cards with 8 meg's of ram. There are not as many of these available. Generally, a 4 meg card works well.

There is only one GS ram card slot. Looking from the front, it will be the slot on the right set off by itself. ie right front.

As for the 5 1/4", was there a larger capacity model for the GS or
only the model I have? What capacity is the 3 1/2" drive?

Technically, the 5.25 was 140 kb. Some drives could take advantage of extra tracks with a patch to ProDOS. Up to 40 tracks. This is non-standard and disks like this should not be shared since the extra tracks may not be readable on different drives.

You should get a 800k 3.5" drive, preferably, 2. Almost all GS software was distributed on these disks.
