Amiga?  You mean the _Commodore_ Amiga?  How ever did you get Java 1.4
or later running on it?  Given the hardware constraints you're up
against (i.e. there's no serial support in the RXTX library for
AmigaOS, and there's no cassette in/out on an IIgs - you must have
been using Uthernet?) it seems you got very far indeed.

I must be missing something fundamental about your setup.  Can you
explain more?
