Hi,
thanks to Jerry Cline and Tony Diaz I received ProTERM 3.1 now.
I guess I should have ordered the manual as I'm already stuck...
I installed everything to a CFFA directory called PROTERM31
I do a BYE from Applesoft and then choose the file PT3.SYSTEM from that
directory in the ProDOS 2.0.3 program selector.
I did the Modem/Printer/Keyboard/Clock choosing thingy, and then I got
the message "Please insert the PROGRAM disk (flip disk) and press
RETURN". When I reload the program it inits the modem and printer port
and then the same messsage appears. But I can't flip a CFFA! What am I
doing wrong here?
I'm listing the contents of my directory /CFFA1/PROTERM31 here:
"PRODOS" "SYS" "$0000" 06-May-93 17:10 17128
"PT3" "SYS" "$2000" 11-May-93 21:07 32000
"PT3.BACKUP" "SYS" "$2000" 11-May-93 21:07 19910
"PT3.CLOCK" "TXT" "$0000" 11-May-93 21:07 2571
"PT3.CODE0" "BIN" "$0000" 11-May-93 21:07 15872
"PT3.CODE1" "BIN" "$0000" 11-May-93 21:07 15616
"PT3.CODE2" "BIN" "$0000" 11-May-93 21:07 40960
"PT3.CODE3" "BIN" "$0000" 11-May-93 21:07 18944
"PT3.CODE4" "BIN" "$0000" 11-May-93 21:07 16384
"PT3.CONVERT" "BIN" "$1000" 11-May-93 21:07 3072
"PT3.GLOBAL" "TXT" "$0000" 11-May-93 21:07 12551
"PT3.SYSTEM" "SYS" "$2000" 11-May-93 21:07 1024
"PT3.WELCOME" "TXT" "$0000" 11-May-93 21:07 221
"PT3.BIOS" "BIN" "$0031" <NO DATE> 256
PS What's the right group for this? The .comm group seems to be as good
as dead, receiving two FAQ postings per month and that's it. Therefore,
f'up to plain c.s.a.
