I am using the RGB to Video, S-VIdeo & Component Video encoder
available here:

I wired a 15-Pin Sub-D port to the RGB input header so I can plug the
GS straight into it using an original monitor cable.


Incidently, I just tried the S-video output and it doesn't even
exhibit the dithering effect.
