Of course not. Except for the speed, Applesoft can be used to develop
pretty large thing (much larger than what my son can do in the next
few years). I have used it to develop graphics program, Othello
program, and there are many graphics and text adventure games
developed using it. Right now, as my emulated GS is running at 40MHz
or more, this is no longer the limitation.

Instant Pascal cannot be used to develop and save to a program, and
what you wrote, is simply for testing only. You cannot compile it to a
code and use it outside, unlike Applesoft.
