The IDEfile seems aimed more at the Lisa and Apple ///, where there aren't as
many options as II users have.
So, it's not a practical project but more of an experiment to see if the
IDEfile will work on the II also.
The community is big enough that we have people with different visions and
desires for what they want to accomplish with their Apples.
Some people want to dive into retro as deeply as possible, others are putting
as much new gear in their machines as possible to take advantage of modern
conveniences (ie CF, ethernet). It's all good.
Heck, if we were all practical, maybe none of us would still be using Apple II
computers.
