Right. I also think it might be the ][ not the monitor because when I
tap reset a bunch or toggle the power swtich, I get lots of random
charachters, but maybe that always happened. Then again, its possible
that the horizontal hold on the monitor only affects the video that is
input, and thus does not go beyond the boundries of what the ]
[ displays.
