I personally use a SuperDrive card in my IIe and sneakernet data back

my SCSI setup with a CFFA is the perceived annoyance of moving things
about to get at the CF Card.

If you get a SCSI card for your PC, you can sneaker-net the entire hard
drive. Less convenient than carrying a floppy, but very handy for backups.

That's what I do from time to time. It also allows me to sync up my
real hard drive and my emulator's hard drive images from time to time
too. Lately though, my real machine hasn't been set up so once I get it
going again, I'll just hook up my hard drive to my PC again and transfer
my current hard drive images onto it.

That's exactly my procedure with the CF card!

It's been so long since I've had the top on my //e that I'd have to
look for it if I wanted to replace it! I'm always swapping a card
or probing a signal... I'd never "bury" it under a monitor. ;-)
