BlueFlash Progress Update

Hi,

After the announcement made a week ago, I have had several very
exciting progress on BlueFlash

1. Tested many games (single disk) and they all work but one (have not
found the reason).

2. To my biggest surprise, "Write" disk has been made successfully
without too much difficulties, right now files can be saved (written)
to disk.

3. Tested more CF cards and Sandisk Ultra ][ 512M and 1G work very
nicely. Transcend CF card still did work after many efforts, don't
have a clue at all. So I will just stick with Sandisk's CF card and
you should too.

4. Tested many DOS 3.3 commands and work fine. However, INIT doesn't
really work, it failed at the end of formatting process and I have
traced the DOS code, the tracks were formatted fine but the problem is
at the "Write Hello" part of INIT process, for some reason it just
failed. No clue why, but an alternate way to "Format" has been tested
OK.

Later, I will try to finish "BlueFlash Menu" program with which you
can do many tasks such like load disk, creat new disk, transmit disk
via Bluetooth..... The programming part is almost done and
verification is about to start. Also I need to test multi-disk
programs and the disk-flipping (-swapping) mechanism, make sure multi-
disk program can run. Once it is OK, BlueFlash should be ready to go,
can not promise a day though.

So next I have two question

1. I haven't tested on Apple ][gs, I need to retrieve my old ][gs from
old home next week to test. But before I test it, I just want to ask,
can Disk ][ controller/Disk ][ Drive work on ][gs? If so, good news is
BlueFlash should also work on ][gs since BlueFlash is really a 100%
(almost) clone of Disk][.

2. Does any body know the titles for two games (forgive me for asking
this, game is the very original purpose why I started BlueFlash,
remember?).

First game -

What I remember is, it is a vertical shooting game, you control a gun
on the ground moving sideward and there will be some strang creatures
coming down from above and one special creature if you did not shoot
it up before it lands on the ground, it sticks on the ground and
becomes a bomb. Another specific type of creature, when it land on
the ground, it jumps and you need to go below it not to hit it.

Second game -
You control something like a snake in a room with many walls, and you
can push bricks of the walls to form a shelter and you can also push
the brick to hit the enemies to destry them.

Whoever can give the correct titles oo the above two games, will be
the very first one to receive a BlueFlash....

(hey, you know I am kidding ........^_^)
