Yes, the dates I gave were referring to the earlier part about
frame-at-a-time computer animations with storage scopes.

PDI did its early work with Apple II's in the early-to-mid 1980s.

Sorry for messing that up!  Fortunately, it resulted in a
contradiction.  ;-)
