Many thanks to all . I have put the iigs behind the firewall and filtered, it works now flawless. It looks like as it is as some of you have speculated about, marinetti gets flooded with requests and can not handle it. Bottom line, just open TCP/IP ports and it works. Thanks again to all Wolfgang
