Hi,
If you read the disk controller data latch, it will give whatever byte
in the data latch at that moment, so you will be able to see how the
data bit shifting in one-by-one if you read the data latch fast
enough. It is exact the same as original Disk ][ controller and that
is the whole idea about BlueFlash, genuine clone of Woz sequencer!
The only place that BlueFlash does not clone 100% is the disk on/off
and head moving inertial. In BlueFlash, it take from ~0 to at most 8
ms (depending on when you give the command to the disk controller) to
turn on/off and move the arm by one phase. Actual drive takes much
longer, and if anybody wants it to wait that long, I can do it too,
but I don't see any reason why!
