Hi
It is good to check every now and then. I've had a Canon Cat for a
number of years. I known that is was possible to connect a printer
other that a Canon printer, such as a HP, but I'd not been able to
figure enough of the code out to make the patch.
About 9 months ago, I finally found that Jef Rasken had left some
documents with the Stanford Library on both the particular Forth used
to code it and information specific to the editor application.
With this information, I've been able to decompile relevent portions
of the code and with a little help from some that worked on the
project,
write a driver to run a PCL5 compatible printer.
You need to keep asking. Eventually it will surface.
