Interesting. That is the _prototype_ "DuoDisk 3.5" drive for
the Apple IIc, which of course was never released and presumably
quite rare. Apple planned to have the DuoDisk and UniDisk in both
floppy size formats, which is why we have the odd and out of place
drive named the UniDisk 3.5 (ever wonder why it was called that?).
The other drive is a prototype UniDisk 5.25, it has the detachable
cable at the back (there were other pictures of the drive in the
sellers non-bid auction). The Apple IIc and Macintosh beige 800K
drive are fairly common, although it's possible the IIc itself is a
pre-production unit with beta firmware.
The only other DuoDisk 3.5 I've seen is the one in Tony Diaz's
collection. Unfortunately this particular one is severely and
unevenly yellowed.
