Ewen,
I take your advice.
When conecting to the WWW via Arachnid I also have a crash.
I have not mentioned Arachnid because it is mentioned in the Arachnid
documentation that Arachnid can crash by itself "it is just a matter
of time".
I will create a basic System 6 enviroment and try marinetti (which is
the newest version, that was one of the first things I did when I
faced the problem)
I use Safe2 but I do not think the crashing is caused by it. Why
should the Apple crash if Safe2 is not active if Ssfe2 creates the
problem?
Unfortunately I have no Idea about the way marinetti and the uthernet
card are conecting to the internet, so I have to do mainly try and
error debugging.
I ruled out the uthernet card because it is working fine in the Apple
IIe but I can be wrong.
I will tryout the diffrent suggestions on the weekend and let you all
know about the outcome next week, thanks a lot !
