I concur with everything said so far, and I definitely recommend you
get at least one floppy drive - 2 is even better, but 1 will get you
by.
For small program installs, you really *don't* want to have to crack
open your //e, remove the CF card, insert it into a CF reader, fire up
Ciderpress, and copy related files when the alternative is to simply
put in a disk.
I do the long winded way when installing big things (eg. IIgs GS/OS,
or multi-disk apps), but for simple things (which is pretty much
everything on the //e), a disk is certainly more preferable.
Another, way of doing things is to create 32Mb disk image(s) and mount
it/them in your favourite emulator and install any required disk
images through the emulator (by mounting appropriate .dsk images).
Once you have everything just how you want it, *then* use Ciderpress
to transfer it to your CF card and the install the CF card in your
CFFA and you'll be good to go. :-)
Hope this is of help.
Cheers,
-p
