Just wondering, from a technical standpoint by Those Who Know (TM),
what it would take to do anything similar on the IIGS. I was thinking
that recoding would be done on a Mac or PC and then copied over to the
IIGS, but I don't know if/what the platform could handle.

My non-technical opinion is that MpegDec works tolerably on a 33Mhz 68040, which is miles ahead of the IIgs... there was, however, a streaming audio demo for the IIgs, but I don't recall it's name. I played from an mp3-sized file, though I don't know if it was compressed or just a lo-fi wave file.
