It doesn't have R,G,B out because it is only a sync signal
separator. You'll need extra circuitry to pull those and
send them to their respective inputs on the IIgs monitor.

Yes, the eval board doesn't have those connections because it's not
for evaluting that (it's just for testing the sync conversions I
guess), but I do have 5 of the chips, so if I can dig up a breadboard,
I can make a test system out of it (which I need to do anyways).
But the fact is, companies like Intersil (no, I don't work for them)
are making chips like the ISL59885 to get sync signals from video
streams without having to add all those extra componets. Why build a
circuit with 20 parts, when a chip will take care of most of it?
But I am still curious as to what this composite signal is coming
from?
