Hello.
I came across some various Apple II cards and have some questions.
1st:
The Xebec Sidecare Controller, apparently a SASI controller. I heard
some old scsi 1 drives will work on a sasi controller, does anyone
know if this is true? I'm sure I can dig up some old scsi harddrive
from somewhere. hopefully.
2nd:
The Applied Tech GS-Ram Plus card. Does it require software to run?
And what is the connector on the componet side, and what is the
connecter that is above the slot plug on the back side? I think the
one on the back is for a 2 meg ram expander, but I'm not sure.
3rd:
I found what I thought to be a clock card, that has a stick on a chip
(possible eprom) "Fourth Dimension".
I can't find any info on the card, anyone know anything?
I will be taking pictures of the cards my friend has that I haven't
been able to find info about, there was a few cards he had that I
couldn't find info on later.
The gs-ramplus is almost full of ram, it probably has 4 megs on it.
So I should be cool with ram, but I need to get some sort of harddrive
controller. I found the plans of someone who made an ide card for the
apple 2 which I'm considering.
oh, ya, I have a superdrive, the type for the apple IIgs, with the
eject button. If I want to read 1.44 disks in it, I need a FDHD
controller, right?
thanks!
