    The list that CyberdogX86 is probably railing against is the
LowEndMac swap list.  That list does occasionally ask for and/or offer
Apple II items.

    It IS a very controlled list but that control leads to a minimum
of scamming.  I belong to that list and have been very satisfied with
the stuff I've obtained off that list.  I'm willling to put up with
the occasional overbearing list nanny in return for knowing that the
chances of getting screwed in a deal are extremely minimal.
