What is the name of the cool unit that has power switches front right and
space for 2 3.5 inch drives? They look great and I missed one on eBay last
year but don't know what to use for keywords.

Originally it was the MDIdeas Conserver, then Applied Engineering picked it up
and put their name on it - AE Conserver. It's fan placement was less than
optimal, imo.

I have an MDIdeas Conserver. Many years ago when I used to keep my GS on all the time, I had to disconnect the power LEDs inside the Conserver since they generated so much heat that I was worried about starting a fire.

The LEDs got hot??!

A typical LED is lit with 10-20mA with a voltage drop on the order
of 2-3 volts, for a power dissipation of 20-60 *milli*watts!
