Don worked as a designer for Conrac or Phillips IIRC and new video inside and 
out. I don't know where "misguided" comes from. It worked and did what he 
wanted. What else can you ask from a project?

I have a couple of signed copies. Any offers? (He used to stay with me in 
Palo Alto during WCCF until they quit paying him to come and  to speak as the 
original hacker.) He always left a stack of signed books.
