As I recently learned the correct filetype myself (thanks again Andy),
the correct file type for .SHK files is $e0/8002.  $e0 is "LBR".

If it still won't open after setting the correct filetype, you can
always run GS Shrinkit manually by double clicking on the application
icon - which is wherever you installed it (default is /Application I
think). Once GS Shrinkit is running, you can open your SHK archive
file by using the regular menu (ie. File-->Open or similar). This may
even setup the file association for you (not sure about this).
