Very true. It would be just too slow. I keep thinking of Lunix, or LNG
Whatever it's called. If it hadn't been savagely crippled by the C64 it may
have been interesting. I'd like the same thing but with 65816 support.
Or even IIgs native Contiki.

I was thinking about whether Contiki would be easily ported to IIgs. I had
to give up because I simply don't have enough information. I don't have and
have never used the Orca toolchain so i don't know much about it.
The WDC toolchain would seem a better option apart from needing to write
IIgs specific libraries. I say this because it's apparently an
implementation of ANSI C.
I downloaded their trial versions but haven't tried them yet.
