Turbo Pascal? As in a coincidentally named Pascal like the language released
by Borland? Or is it the root product of the lineage?

Turbo Pascal, at $49 and blindingly fast, was the product that
made Borland a big company.  It also showcased the benefits of
a RAM-based integrated development environment: editor, compiler,
linker, debugger.
