Interesting that you would ask this. I'm in the same boat with my //e and have been giving serious thought to writing a generic menu program in C using CC65 and porting it to C128, C64, C= Plus/4 and Atari 800 since the interesting bits (I/O, Graphics) are done in drivers for each platform. I've actually been thinking of opening a project on Source Forge for this and if others are willing to participate then I'll get the ball rolling.
