Actually, Minix (up to 2.0.2, I believe) could indeed run on the XT. I
once had it installed on a 640K XT. See http://www.minix3.org/previous-versions/Intel-2.0.2/usage.txt.
640K doesn't leave much room for doing anything useful, however.
