Im sure this has been asked, but I didnt have much success in finding
and answer(s) searching the newsgroup.
I have an Apple //c and have gotten the null modem all set up and
working between my laptop and the Apple. The problem is that Im
using the bootstrapping option to xfer dos over to a new floppy
disk. When I do this, I just get garbage displayed on the Apple //c
side. As a test to verify that my cabling could possible be
misconfigured, I went into hyperterminal and connected to the //c.
Everything was fine. Whatever I type on the laptop appeared on on
the //c perfectly. So now Im thinking something else is up.
Anybody have any ideas? Or did I bump into some kind of bug?
