I never had much luck with ADTgs, so that's why I updated ADT 2006 to
talk to the IIgs serial port.

ADTPro is Java, but ADT 2006 is not. The client end of ADT 2006
(version 1.31) can talk to the IIgs serial port natively, but earlier
versions of plain ADT could not.

Ok, I got your post confused with another - I thought you had been
running A2GS.
