Those are some wicked sparks you're getting off your coils..

A friend and I are trying to get a small coil to work..  so far we
haven't been
able to tune it correct (we get about 1/4" sparks)  we tried using an
NST
and a 35kv supply from an old monitor..

We also played with a wimhurst machine..  couldn't get that to work,
although
my friend Mike got a pool of plasma to form on his record a few years
ago..  he
says it looked like a bubble, and behaved similar to water.
