AppleWin was always my emulator of choice when I used Windows. I have
transitioned over to a combination of Linux and some FreeBSD over the
past year and it is unfortunate to not have a native emulator with
similar functionality and ease of use. In general, I do not use
WINE. I'd always hoped that somebody would take the AppleWin codebase
and port it to SDL (Atari800 emulator uses this with success), then it
would be that much close to a native *nix port which would be sweet.
I should probably just get off my butt and try to do it myself :-)
Anybody with any expertise in this area want to help ;-)
