My SCRG Extend-a-slot is 18 inches long - but that might have more to do with 
convenience and manufacturing than anything technical. The manual (such as it 
is) states that some high speed I/O cards may not function correctly, ie your 
mileage may vaey.

Sorry, it's all rheotorical. Just mentioned it because it's a similar setup.
