I am just getting started with a IIGS [again] and I have a lot of disk
image files. If I store the disk images [2img, dsk, etc.] on my IIGS
hard drive is there a utility that will unpack the disk images to
memory and run directly?
I have been reading here in the newsgroup and on the web about various
utilities that will place the image back on to a floppy disk, but
that's not what I'm interested in. Is it possible to take a shortcut
or do they have to be back in their native format to run?
I have a beige PowerMac that I could use with AppleTalk as a server
too. Any ideas? I am hoping to avoid a stack of 5.25 and 3.5 floppies
if at all possible.
