I like this one too for swapping between
2 F800 ROMs. I assume one Monitor ROM and
a modified ROM.

This is correct. It allows two completely
different ROM mappings. You could even put
Auto-start Monitor ROM in both.

The keyboard of the II+ is mapped in the encoder
on the keyboard itself, and the character map is
defined in the CharGen ROM to the left of the
keyboard connector on the motherboard. To change
the character map you need to convert that socket
to 2716 and have a dual adapter with a 2732 or
two 2716's onboard.

I assume you mean did I ask him, and the answer
is no. My dual ROM board design is completely
original.
