If no keyboard is plugged in, the built-in self test should run
continuously as both Apple keys will appear to be depressed. This is
how the motherboard is burnt in at the factory - power via the edge
connector at the front left, no keyboard and no speaker (the LED near
the speaker terminal flashes instead).
